Another plain day for the plain ordinary person in the this plain town. Doesn't it seem that everything is explained by being ordinary, to bad this boy can only say he wants to be ordinary but he never would be able to be, since its somewhat difficult sense everyone thinks his gonna go and run down the path of his father. People have such good faith in those crime doers. Hadn't he proved anything in the past like 20 years that he wasn't going to turn into his father? Ok yeah he hadn't been completely a clean and perfect citizen in the town but that was just him. Alec's father had gotten himself into the theft way. He had stole from many people, but the first time he killed someone, the soldiers had arrived and took him away. That was when Alec was 16. So now at 24, everyone has been watching and waiting for him to pull something to send him down that path.
The dirty blonde, 6'2, well toned Alec was walking through the street, glancing at the passing people and stands of goods. Behind him, a brawny paint horse followed after him. Not may knew that Alec and Daze had a connection where they talked and joked with one another. Yes Alec can talk to all other animals with his mind but he mostly only chooses to talk with Daze. At the moment, the two were bickering on if Alec should buy apples for Daze or not. Daze was of course all for it and Alec was hoping to save some of the coins he had for a more important cause. He didn't know what but something other than apples that were just gonna be chewed on by a horse. Since they were to caught up in conversation, Alec didn't even notice the commotion going on up ahead.
It was then, when all the bad luck that he had skirted out of came hurling back at his face like a fast moving boomerang! Daze snorted and tossed his head high as a man ran out from the crowd up ahead, colliding with Alec, sending him to the ground. A grunt came from Alec as the man, who he didn't even get a look at thrust something into his hands before getting up and running. In complete confusion, Alec sat up and looked down in his hands. Daze placed his muzzle on Alec's shoulder and looked at what was in his hands. Of course, a bag of money, stole to be exact. With the alert of Daze, he looked up to see soldiers making their way quickly towards him. "Great." he snapped and stood quickly. Two soldiers, who were really serious with their business came at him. "Hey, this dude ran into me and gave this to me. I didn't do any-" He didn't get to finish as he fell silent as a sword was pointed at his throat.
"Causing trouble again, Alec Dean Freer." The soldier snapped and was only given an annoyed eye roll from Alec. They were so quick to accuse him since his dad was probably still in the prison at the castle. The soldiers just wanted an excuse to throw him in there with him as well. He could only think of one thing to say. "Wasn't My Fault."

Zanzibar was watching the whole thing, while she was buying an apple. She just smiled lightly, she loved trouble. She was a dark clocked figure, she her horse with her while walking up to them. Painted Wind nickered softly, Zanzibar gave the horse a bite of her apple then took a bite herself. She walked towards them and said "I don't see a problem soldier" her voice had a hissing sound. Painted looked at the soldiers snorted, Zanzibar looked at Alec. You really couldn't see her face, she stood there knowing something would happen.

Alec stood there, glaring down the point of the sword. Daze stood behind him, ears pinned back in a threatening way. They had been in this situation before. The soldiers were still trying to learn their quick moves to get out of situations like these. A few times, when it was actually his fault, Alec and Daze could dart out of the place with only a slight difficulty. A few times they slipped out of one like this to. They just had to wait for the soldiers to get distracted by something then they would spilt. When the soldiers turned to look at where a voice came from, Alec also found himself looking over.
He looked over the cloaked form. Female, he knew it from the voice and the movements. He wasn't sure what compelled this girl to come up and give him a hand when he hadn't even met her before. Not many others would give a hand to the son of a killer or thief either so he was stuck in a confused haze. Hazel eyes glanced over the soldiers as they examined the situation with the girl. "I don't believe we were taking input from bystanders." One of the soldiers said with a snort. Daze snorted back and placed his muzzle on Alec's neck. 'Stop it.' Alec snapped in his thoughts as the air from Daze made his hairs stand up on end. Daze only complied after blowing air once more.

Zanzibar growled she hated soldiers, specifically cocky ones. She pulled out her own sword and pointing it at him. By that time her clock hood fell down, she had a growl coming from her. Painted stood with his hears pinned back, she had saw what happened and this wasn't fair no matter who he was. Her eyes never broke contact she was ready for anything, she looked to alec and then spoke "I didn't say you where asking, but i will tell anyways" watching them carefully making sure nothing bad happened.

Glancing from the soldiers, then the girl, and back again, he watched as she drew her sword. He rolled his eyes. This girl was gonna be a hero for the day he guessed. The soldier's sword wasn't pointed at him anymore. The soldier hadn't noticed that it had lowered to around his stomach. Seeing the other, 3 or 4 soldiers were focused on the girl, he took his chance. With a quick step sideways and towards the soldier, hand grasp his wrist, squeezing the pressure points to loosen his grip on the sword. Once the sword was free from the soldier, Alec twisted the soldier's arm back then pushed him at the others. With a quick sweep, he had the sword in hand. The soldier turned to look at him with a deep glare. Alec only shrugged. "You guys gotta get some new moves."

Zanzibar loved being around fights, but this was getting way to boring fast. So she put her sword back up and turned towards Alec, who had the soldiers sword. "Wonder why theses kingdom's never mount to anything, but still other peoples things" she said putting the reins over her horses head. She stood there for a meant and then went around to the saddle making sure it was tight and nothing was missing. Before coming back to her horses head and alecs side.

He rolled his eyes at the girl as he watched the soldiers. Glancing at the sword he saw it wasn't worth anything anyways. With an annoyed sigh he flipped the sword once around in his hand before letting it land near the soldier's feet. "Weak sword anyways." The soldiers of course back away, admitting they were only out for some type of action and Alec looked like the guy to raise something up. Turning he looked at the horse head which was right behind him. Glancing from the horse to the girl, he gave a confused look at Painted Wind. 'What?' Alec asked the horse. He looked over at the girl once again. "So, your not from here. And the comment about the kingdoms guessing your not from Von Maur either."

She looked at Alec, there was some sadness in her eyes. She thought back to the raid, she sighed looking to painted wind. "Nope i lived far from here, very far" she spoke as she walked around to the left side of painted wind, she put her foot in his stirrup mounting him. She picked up the reins, looking at Alec then spoke again "I guess you are?" her words where cold and straight forward no emotion about them, the only emotion can from her eyes.

Like most people, she wasn't from either of the kingdoms as he figured. the emotionless in her eyes was a little to serious for himself. He wasn't one to be difficult to be lifeless but he couldn't change her if he wanted to. Watching her mount, he decided to do the same. He didn't have anywhere else to go or do so why not just mess around here. Hearing the question her gave a grin. "From here of course. I'm a full pledged incorporative citizen. Alec." He introduced himself.

Zanzibar watched him do the same as she, sighing deeply. She heard him speak, she looked at him and then spoke "Nice to meet you Alec, im Zanzibar call me Zan or Zanny" She gave her horse a n motion to walk forward. She knew that he would follow, she fliped her hair out of her face showing her horse shoe silver mark. She looked at painted wind, "What dose he want?" he asked her, she replied softly "I dont know yet" She looked back at Alec, rolling her eyes.

Hearing her name, he had to say he hadn't heard like that one before. It was something completely new to him but oh well. Watching her move forward, he followed. Daze just followed after knowing that Alec was aiming to follow. His eyes landed upon the mark when she moved her hair but didn't say anything about it. Daze snorted. 'So what does she want?' Alec glanced down at him. 'Like how would I know? I just like met her. Can't read her mind you know.' Daze shook his head. 'Some times you humans could qualify as animals to.' Alec didn't reply to him. "So, Zan, what brings you to Citadel?"

She listened for a while not answering just kinda thinking of a way to tell him, "Horses, i'm looking for horses with a silver horse shoe brand" By that time she knew something was up, she was going to half to be careful. As her stallion walked, she looked around. She pulled another apple from her saddle bag, eating on it. While watching the road below her, sighing as she looked up and to the sky.

She was silent once again, this caused Alec to watch with confusion and interest. So he was kinda of a snoopy person, that was just him and that was that. He wasn't one for silence either. He can be silent for a long while if he has a reason to. This walking in silence thing wasn't working for him as well. A sigh came form him as he looked away from her and at the people that were passing by in the street. The crowd began to thin out as they approached the edge of the town. There were still people around but not as many, making riding easier. Continuing a little further they would be in an open field or forest, depending on which way they wanted to go.
Alec searched for something to say as the silence bugged him. Glancing to the right, he saw the castle that was in the distance. Of course he had seen it many times before but it was still cool to look at. He had never been inside which wasn't a terrible thing but it would be interesting to go in one day. But he was getting off topic. Returning his thoughts to Zan, he finally found words. "So, you've been to many places I'm guessing."

Zanzibar looked at him, stopping painted. She had a smile and said "Yes, trying to get back some stock" she knew what was up, she had to keep herself closed as a book. Painted snorted and then broke into a gallop, without any warning. Holding on lightly, as painted broke free like he always didnt. He was pure mustang like the horses, she was looking for she traveled with painted because he knew alot more than she.

This girl was marked as strange in Alec's book, especially in the way she spoke. She was serious about something. He didn't have a clue what that something was but he didn't see how one could be so focused on one thing. When her horse broke into a gallop, Daze halted in surprise, ears forward listening to the horse run on. Alec raised his brow in a questionable look. Daze shook his head before glancing back at Alec. 'Should we follow?' It was a question that was wandering through Alec's head as well. 'Yeah, I guess.' With the yes, Daze bolted forward after the other.
It didn't take to long till the two of them caught up with Zan. Alec was a fantastic rider, learning from his sister, and just watching others. It took from age 10 to 16 to master the skills of fighting from horseback, running mounts, and all those moves. But he learned. It was helpful that he could talk with horses so they got the timing correct on everything. And during fights he never had to steer since Daze always new where they were going. He hadn't been in any fights in a while that took off to a chase. Alec had been a good boy for the past few weeks so the town was boring. Daze paced himself with Zan's horse as Alec looked over at her with a smirk on his lips.
