Her luck seemed to turn from a few days ago. Once she was able to get away from the gods-forsaken alley. Now her healing sprain ankle was bound and her boot tied a little tighter for more support. Her mare was in the Inn's stable and she had a room. Stolen money payed for it all. One had to make a living somehow right. Soon she would leave this place and wander off again. But for the moment she had to heal then run off. The fact she ran into those men at all was a misfortune. But her luck turned up in the end. Now she sat in the back corner out of sight in the tavern part of the Inn. A mug sat on the table. Her back agaisnt the wall and she sat foot on the bench with her. An arm rested on the back of the seat and one on the table. In the bad lighting of the area it was hard to tell her shapely figure, full lips, dark complexion, and big brown eyes. But they were there. Dark wavy locks were left unbraided for once reached past her shoulders. Big brown eyes watched everymovement in the room. Nadia was silent. The room was full or laughter, chat, and stories. A few songs as well. Men drank, women sat in laps, cooed, drank, or served. Some boys just into manhood rested mostlikely off to adventure in the morning. The night had brought the crowd in. She didn' mind. It gave Nadia something to do. Watching helped her learn. The more she watched the more she learned.

Foot steps where soft before he had entered the place. He was going to be staying with Hamlet and Julianne for the night but decided to leave them alone and let the testostorone of the prince to cool down. No matter of how much he disliked him. Glancing over his shoulder before he fully stepped in back at Ruse who watches him with expectant eyes as though asking, "well why did you tie me up?? untie me." Raphael shook his head lightly and stepped in. this place as as good as a death trap with all the smoke that seemed to litter this place. Eyes moved down the bar towards the counter as he looked for the little ol woman who was pretty much like an aunt to him. No he might have lied saying he was never beeen from her but you could say he sort of... well... lied.. He has been about every where in these god for saken lands.
he growls only slightly beneath his breath as he waddled slightly towards the back of the inn heading towards the side but where he could easily be spotted by his aunt figure who tended to him most of the time. Falling into a sit he lightly rested his head on his arms for a second. He had this pounding headach. Dark eyes moved upwards in an instant as he heard a couple of guys argueing about some woman that came to one of them first. Which ever. Raphael truly didn't care nor did he honestly want to. The human population deserved to die. End of story. There were a few in Raphael's life that he could honestly and truthfully cared about but even those sometimes didn't stand a chance against his wrath. But for now he had to think of what to do with his diamond he had been harboring. The one of course which Laios would soon be after. The one the prince was supposebly give to him Ha. that guy was on the run and Laios's brother would soon be the victor.
He sat back now in the chair as he let his eyes scan the area. there was a bunch of idiots in this INN didn't the human population ever grow up? He ran his fingers through his black hair and tipped his head back. The loud behavior in here wasn't helping. But he had only come to visit his aunt and that was about it. He hadn't seen her in a while so he thought well since he was in town he'd visit. He breathed in and only found himself coughing. Cigar smoke was never the easiest to breathe in. He closes his eyes as he gags he then glares at the man aside of him. After the guy getting the hint of taking his disgusting cigar else where Raphael let his eyes scan the room again and thats when he noticed her. That girl from the Alley. Goody...
But none the less he wouldn't mess with her. He had no reason to. Not like she wanted to speak to him anyways. Staring fowards as he finall spotted her he lightly waved his arm. If that woman could have turned any whiter with shock he thought she would have been a spirit instead of the sweet hearted old woman. Quickly she shoved it to one of the workers that work behind the bar and moved in an almost grace as she moved to Raphael. "SWEET HEART!" She squealed. he stood up and embraced her as she went into him a bit to roughly and made him cringe. "Easy." he muttered she pulled back and looks down at his chest and rose her brow with that protective look. "What you get yourself into?" She asked. he shrugged. "Nothing really got jumped nothing big."

Those big brown eyes seemed to take everything in as she studied. There was a good ten people whom she could rob blind without tring but of course she was stuck sitting here. It was fine she had her share of excitement for the moment being. The sound of the door opening made her look at she quickly looked away to look back at those dirnking and smoking. It was tha man from earlier.
The one who couldn't take a hint of when she didn't care much what he thought or said. At lest the girl and the dark crazy man wasn't with him. The sound of an argument reached her keen ears. A smirk played on those soft full lips of her's. Such conflicts amused her. Men relied on lust to often. These two only kept her attetnion for a few minutes. Part of her wanted to go insigate the arguement but she just stayed were she was.
Hearing the woman call out in sheer happines she looked once again and raised that thin brow. A sigh escpaed her and she shifted and took a drink from the mug and set it down. Eyeing a man at the bar to close for comfert. The old man kept looking her way. Why did they always have to look. The moment he got up and staggered her way she gritted her teeth. "Heya tootes" he spoke with a slur to his words. She made a face. Nadia could smell the liqur on him he was a drunk period. She looked away looking about the rest of the Inn hoping ignoring him would work.
She was wrong he sat down almost on her ankle before she used her arms to lift her a bit and bring her other foot up and caught the man in the gut sending the small old man back a few steps as he hit a chair and fell hitting another chair sending a bigger man to the floor with a loud thump. She sat down eyes wide with surprise. The lburly man got up and hefted the boney farmer up and threw him which he fell on a table of a few men playing poker and upset them....

"where your trouble making friend Raphael?" he asked him as she sat him back down in the chair. He just merely glances up at her his eyes lightly squinted and he shrugs. Did she always have to worry about Laios or something? "Wouldn't know.. wouldn't care." He looks down at his fingers playing with them slightly until she gripped her chin and looked him sqaure in the face. "Oh come now you don't mean that." Raphael held his breath for a second before he lightly moved his head from her grip before looking up. "Infact I do." Pieces of black bangs fell infront of his dark cruel features before he lightly growls and looks down. "That man is something else Aunt Jean." he said between gritted teeth. "he deserves every thing that comes his way." He fiddles with the bandaid on his finger that Julianne stuck there as his brow rose. "Aww Raphael listen to yourself. You have known him since you two were kids and over something petty I am sure... you say this? Surely you can't mean it. Friends like that don't come out of thin air you know?" She lightly cocked her head. A grey curl moving infront of her face as she smiles putting her hand atop his and squeezing lightly.
But the sound of a man falling and abit of an agruement caught her attention. Patting him lightly she went to go and attend to it. Raphael sat quiet. What the hell did she know? Nothing thats what... Laios was an a**hole that deserved the suffering he was going through. Just like these disgusting men in here. All dogs and eventually you know where dogs go? Thats right dear friends to Hell. Raphael smirked at the thought and lowers his head only slightly, eyes closing. Ah his own roots were coming back to him. The sounds of glass breaking and a loud up roar of men sounding as his aunt jean screamed for Billy in the back. His dark eyes flicked upwards as he watched some guy start to grab her and pull his hand back. Raphael stood up, "HEY!"
The whole bar went silent as they looked back at him. "You punch her and you will be picking teeth out of your mouth for a month you hear. So drop that fist before I make you eat it." Raphael moved around the table and stopped a few paces from the, as he crossed his arms. Would the man heed his warning? Probably not because he was drunk as hell and you could see it. Finally the guy put his fist down and let Jean go. She glared but shakily moved from him. As she came back towards him Raphael just smirked only slightly.

Nadia watched as she drained her drink. Time to retire it seemed. Maybe her luck wasn't turning after all. So setting the drink down she slipped from the table and stood. Her ankle supported by the bandage and her tight boot which left only a limp to her step. But someone screamed for a Bill and she looked over at the source as silence fell at someone's voice breaking over all the fuss. Now this was something of intrest. When the woman was let go she smirked. "Figure's", she muttered under breath. She took a few steps away from the table heading for the stairs when a rough hand gripped her arm and she looked at who grabbed her. A brow rose. "Realease me", she said voice low. He started to pull her close only to yell out as she swiftly gripped his pinky and bent it as far back as possible. He released her instantly. A smile was given as she nodded to Jean whom she had spoken to upon comming. "Rough crowd 'Night Ma'ma, Might want to keep lads like that 'ne 'round", she said a nod of her head in Raphael's direction. The little woman knew how to flatter, flirt, and talk her way out most situations. She gave a warm smile and patted the woman's arm before she started to the door wanting freash air before she went up.

When Nadia had moved towards Jean and Raphael was still standing there he merely looked at her. No interest flowing off of him. Infact she looked more like a little girl then a woman. bet she needed to be baby sat too. His brow rose as she pointed in his direction saying she should keep ones like him around. His eyes moved to Jean as she smiled at Nadia and nods her head. "Yes this here is a fine young man." she light;y squeezes Raphaels arm before she turned when Nadia left. Glancing back at her and then towards the man who had grabbed Jean in the first place. But gently he slid out of the INN with a small wave towards Jean. He'd stick around for a bit but he wanted a cigarette and to make sure Ruse was alright. Stepping with a heavy thud off of the step as he entered the blackness out side. he glances towards Ruse who had his head down looking like he was about to fall asleep.
Raphael paused as he lit up his cigarette and then inhailed deeply before blowing it back out. Just what he needed to calm his nerves. Moving with slow and heavy foot falls he moves to his horse as he rose his head. he brought the butt back up to his lips and once more repeated the process after holding it in his lungs. "ah Ruse. What we gonna do with out them." He murmmured gently to her. He closes his eyes before he let them wander up to the night sky. He leaned against the gray wall mixing in with the shadows and if it wasn't for his white tank top he might not have been able to be seen. for some reason his mind was falling onto the Nadia girl. As much fire as she had when they had first met he still couldn't believe he had seen her again. She obviously didn't recognize him but oh well. you win some you loose some. He lays his head back against the wood. That wasn't the first time they had met with Hamlet. Nah they had met before forever ago but none the less it had happened. They didn't stick around each other for long for well he didn't exactly give her what she wanted... but... oh well she learnt the hard way Raphael wasn't an easy customer so she went off on her own. He sold that stone and got what he wanted. That was before he and Laios partnered up again...
Now they had that fist fight and he doubted they would even speak to each other again. Then there was Hamlet. Ah that prince was soemthing else and he was sure he and Julianne were just smooching back at the house. That girl was a beauty and yet he couldn't even have anything like that for himself. Not that he really wanted it. He had better things to do. This would be the first night he wouldn't have to pay some one for lustful deeds just to sleep in a bed. how nice. He should meet people like Julianne more often. Eyes moved from the star lit sky when he had noticed Nadia move out in the darkness. but he said nothing. He waited to see if she would notice him. The cherry at the end of his cigarette burned brightly as he inhailed.

Nadia limped lightly outside. To much excitement in one day but yet she had energy. Going out to the stable to see how her Moon was fairing for the night. Smoothing the mare's white velvet nose she sighed lightly taking a moment to calm. A soft sigh was given and she kissed the mare's nose lightly. The limp lessened a bit now she was used to weight on it. Leaving the stable she headed back. Looking about her as she went. Brown eyes turned to the little cherry of tabacco being burned she raised a brow as she caught a glimps at whom it was. Step brought her closer till she stopped near the horse and offered him a palm to smell. "Fine horse", she said tone unreadable. She was silent a moment before she looked up her gaze turning up the male. "Don't think I'm tring to be nice. I just like the horse", a note of warning in her tones. Weigth shifted to her good leg as she pulled a bit of carrot left from the one she always had for Moon and offerd it to Ruse. The young woman had a soft spot for horses. Her's saved her life one to many times for her not to like them.

he kept his eyes closed now as he sat there in the coolness of the night. Ah he was really starting to get used to it as he heared Ruse shift his eyes opend and put the cigarette to his mouth again. It was almost gone. Hearing a voice he noticed it was Nadia near him. Realising the smoke he merely snickered. " Didn't even cross my mind." He said as he stepped from her lightly. Ruse eagerly took the carrot with a happy nicker as his tail flicked.
Nadia was never a real sweet heart. He could remember that and nor was he. He always picked on her. But as of now he was starting to loose his edge one of which was pretty much drowned back at dead mans cliff where a couple of guys shoved him off, leaving a scar on his head from a hit when he landed in the water on a rock. Luckily his black hair covered the gruesome scar which he personally thought looked disgusting. "Ruse is no more then a sucker for carrots he doesn't really like people." His tone was dry and flat. Nothing really to it as he took another hit. His hands moved to his pocket as he kept his back turned towards her.

Nadia listened to what he said but said nothing for a bit. Giving the gelding a gentle pat on the neck she gave a soft sigh. Being sure she knew where he was she moved to the wall and leaned against it. "Like horse like master", she said looking up. Arms crossed under her full bosom. Long lashes lowered hidding her eyes. "Thanks for earlier", she said gruffly meaning them helping her earlier that day. She stayed where she was just enjoying the freash air so long as she could in the relitive peace she had for the moment. She wasn't tring for conversation justwanted to be sure she wasn't veiwed as a total fool. Strangely enough she had a small liking for the man.

He took another hit before he flicked it to the ground and stepping on it. Lightly moveing his head upwards after a breif pause he let it move from his lips and some out his nose. Ah sweet sweet relaxation just what he needed to get his mind off of his stitched wound. Slowly turning around as she spoke he shrugs. "So they say." he said. Crossing his arms again he lowered his head as he took in the serenity of the moment. The tabacco flowing through him immediately making him feel so much more at ease then what he had been. But with the young lass standing maybe about a foot away he was finding it a bit hard to concentrate. He almost wanted to bring up something from back then but yet he used better judgement. It would probably start something and he almost didn't have the energy to even give a good fight back.
Ruse moved his head up and down as his ears flicked back and forth from the silence. But when he heared the young womans voice again he rose his head only slightly his head turnt to the side. Raphael glanced at her before shrugging his shoulders. "no problem and uherm. Sorry for being a hot head. To much going on at once." he muttered. Of course he was a bit sorry for saying a bunch of crap however he wasn't exactly sure if he meant it. Its a weird thing you know? forgiveness.

It seemed they were both drained in a sense. Her energy was physical not mental really. By the way he acted it was the same. Ironic really. When he spoke she gave a small smile. "Eh you were just being your-self. I could tell", she said with a shrug. "How you know her", she asked refearing to Jean. Nadia wasn't in the mood for chatter on forgiving and thanks. Her mind was to tired to bother over such things. Frame shifted so she lifted her bad foot and set it flat on the wall she elaned on so she stood on one foot. Gaze on the darker spot that was him. If she was in right mind she might wonder why the heck she was talking to him but hey there was only so much that you can focus on at times like this.

He kept quiet as he listened to her and he just slightly chuckles. he lightly pushes the line of his pants away from the stitched area tring to keep it from rubbing. He often had to do so for it some how seemed to wedge up there. "oh you can? how." he asked her. Merely glancing before looking away. maybe she did remember? He clears his throat for a second before shifting his gaze back to Ruse who was once more pressing his head against the wood.
her angelic voice caught his attention again but he didn't look at her. He began to question why in the world he was speaking to such a ghastly woman one of which he would rather beat his head against the wall and get a concusion then to exchange words. But he was to tired to fight against it. why not with this soothing sensation that was cruising through his veins. he breaths in deeply. "Known her since I was a kid. back in my rough and tumbling days." he used the back of his hand and rubbed his nose before inhailing deeply and releasing it.

Nadia simply shrugged at his question of how she knew. She had no clue really she just knew. When he answered her question she gave a nod. A hand lifted and brushed her hair back. Pushing lightly from the wall and moved away from it. Accidently brushing him she took a step back. "Sorry bout that", she muttered. She looked around as the door opened letting a couple out and a wash of light. Watchign them stumble off into the dark she shrugged and looked to him again. "Well I'm going for a little walk. If you come with cool if not its still fine", she said simply. Nadia moved around the corner to head off. Listening to see if he followed or not. She just couldn't stand there anymore not yet and sleep wouldn;t come anytime soon she knew it.

Raphael murmured only slightly to himself as he stares at light of where people came out. His brow rose as he watched the figures completely cloaked in darkness and not being able to tell who was what. When he felt something brush against him he looked over at her as she stepped back and apologized. he said nothing nor would he truly say anything. Moving his head to clear his bangs from his face he listens to her speak again. he paused not sure if he should follow but then again if he didn't he would be stuck doing nothing and probably head back. Sighing heavily he followed after her his foot steps heavily to be sure she knew he was coming. Staying a bit behind her before he allowed himself to catch up and be at her side. he didn't really realize how tall he was until he stood next to her. He was about 6'1 as Laios was about 5'11. It truly was a major diffrence and yet he never noticed it until just now,
keeping his foot steps easy he grabbed for another cigarette. Gosh his nerves were just simply bothering him. It was driving him insane. However he never smoked another one until about like 4 or 3 days later after the one he smoked. But tonight he felt like his nerves were all out of whack and this was his last one so he had better make it last and suck it in until he stole some more.

The sound of his footsteps reached her sensitive ears as he followed. Mentally she shrugged. When he came alongside her she looked to the side and up at him before lookign ahead. Nadia was silent as they walked. A slight limp to her step but she ignored it. Going straight ignoring turns down passing alleys. Suddenly her foot hit something getting caught. "d**n", she muttered and pulled her-self free from whatever held her. Most likely just a hole. Taking a few steps to the side gaining her balance again. "Honestly, how much worse could my luck get", she muttered with a sniff of distaste half forgetting him in her frustration. She sighed and ran a hand threw her hair and moved away to start on. "Ever have one those days were things just seem to go wrong", she asked him absently
