Jaden eyes didn't bother to move to Xena or her whickering mare. They stayed intently on the intruder who was on his mare which sort of irked him. The woman sat squarely on the mare lightly lifting her legs in an agile way to where she used her knees to allow her to stand on the mares saddle but also up near her shoulders. She grabbed another arrow as eyes remained intently on her and she srung it back. A smile hidden behind the cloth that covered her mouth as dark eyes danced.
Laios kept lightl low as he stares at her the arrow pointing directly towards him. Ah Hell.. he was in a perdicament. It seemed this woman must have known Heru. but how? Laios kept low his hands on the ground as he leaned lighly fowards on the tips of his feet waiting for her to make a move or for him to. And then she let the arrow go he ducked his head. Giving Heru a screechy sound which was a kiss and a whistle combined the mare simply went beserk which throught the other off of her. Haks pinned to the mares skull and she wetn bolting towards Ember. Laios rose to his feet and went slowly towards the fallen rider who was also trying to regather herself from the fall. Rubbig her head her eyes suddenly went wide as Laios snatched her off the ground grabbin one of the arrows she had left and tossed it out of her hand, snatchig the bow and tossing it along with it. Gripping her wrist he pulled her close to him as he glared into her eyes and then ripped the black cloth off of her face revealing a young dainty woman... Amore.

Her stupid gods cursed mare was a pain at times. Her ear ringed and the mare kept trying to keep from her grip. At last fingers gripped the leathed and jerked down roughly. Ember's head went down with a loud snort. Eyes stayed on the rider the whole time which was one reason for fault in pulling Ember'shead down. The woman smirked as the rider fell. Letting Ember go as Heru ran in their direction. Knife twirled lightly as she walked over to them. Brow twitched bemused by Laios's attacker. "So is she in the kill catagory or known catagory"she asked him boredly. Honestly this was growing dull in her mind. And she blamed Heru and Ember for the whole thing. It was fun slaughtering a few bandits or raiders or whatever they were but little girls held no intrest to her. Knife was slipped into her belt she she waited and watched. Hands rested on her hips as she watched steadily. Nothign showing on her face nor in her ghostly pale eyes. Simply impassive for the moment till she knew what was the status of the little dove.

Laios Held her tightly he didn't even know this woman yet she was attacking him? Yet little did he know he might have not known her.... She knew him very well. Listening to Xena as she spoke he simply tossed the girl back on the ground at the warrioresses feet. "Kill her." He shrugs lightly and looks back at the woman who attacked him. "I have no idea who she is.. nor do I truly care." His jaws tighten and she glares at him.
"You know d**n well who I am." She said looking at him with a cold glare. " You and your little friend, Raphael. Hm. I ran into him not to long ago.. Hopefully that wound to the side done him in." Eerie grin crossed her features as Laios turned to face her. How could she have known Raphael and just HOW could they have known her? His eyes narrow for a second in ponderment. He shook his head, "Your mistaken. I know not of who you are."

Xena smirked with a sort of cool pleasure of getting the chance to kill another and her sword was drawn as the girl was thrown at her feet. When the gril spoke she looked to Laios. What was this. Shaking her head as they spoke. When Laios told the girl she was mistaken she reached down and puleld the grill to her feet by the arm. "Darlin, either spit it out or shut it", she said. Showing a bit more of her impatient side. There was never times for games of word about her. Such things were dull. She was a bright woman she simply thought there was more entertaining things than riddles in this world. Speach was idle. People were inscents that needed to be squashed unless worthy. One hand gripped the young woman the other her sword as she waited for the other to choose which choice she was given honestly she was being nice letting her speak at all most the time Xena killed them words or no. Perhaps she was going soft. Not possible.

Listening to her Laios merely turned around and walked backwards now as he moved to his mare. Listening to Xena first and then to the woman she held he just growled lightly and snarled. "out with it then." he was growing annoyed with this whole ordeal. He crosses his arms and lightly tilts his head to the side.
She glared at the woman who held her. She most certainly was dirty like the man that stood before her. Yanking from her grip with a growl she soon turns her gaze towards Laios hotly. "Oh come on now Laios. You couldn't have forgotten me that quickly have you?" She said as she took a dainty step fowards. "And I am not playing games. If your memory serves you right.. Take a gander at the past where you have seen little girls... Their houses being burnt down.. Her mother still inside! her brother!" Her fists clenches as she stares at him."Your remembe that girl you and your partner passed on that lovely mare behind you!? Just because you were doing some common raiding?" She takes another step closer, Laios remains where he was nothing on his face. Not even a shred of remorse. " You took EVERYTHING from her..."
Laios still standing there like the arrogant man he was snorts in laughter. "yeah? Tell me something else thats new sweet heart." He grins a bit before uncrossing his arms and strides towards her. "Next you will want me to give you sympathy. Well Princess you won't find it here. So get on with your merry little way and sulk some where else. Because I don't have paitence for pitty stories. your wasteing your time, effort, and breath."
She soon went running towards him and screamed. "Do what you will! but I will see to it that their death will be justly avenged." Laios quickly side stepped and gripped her by the wrist. Swung her into his body and looked down at her a smile on his face. Looking at her now as though pondering back into the past. "Ah your right. I do remember this.. little girl you spoke of." A cold air sort of took over him. "Your squirmish mother. To bad she didn't do as commanded.... She would have made it out fine... But you. You were the little pesky runt that ruined the whole thing.. and in all bravery of protecting her child.. it costed her.. her life.. How.. Sad." He pushed her back towards the ground as he stares at her features harsh. "Don't ever. touch my horse again.. you hear? Or just like your mother." He pauses and smiles again. "You'll meet one of her same fates." he moved towards Heru and pulled himself up. Not careing if Xena follow he pushed Heru on away from the spot. of course she wouldn't go to far with out ember..... d**n.. mares.

Grip was given up when the girl shook her loose. Xena didn't mind. This girl would fall the moment she did something wrong. Sword was slide in its place as she listened. It was rather amusing how this young woman seemed to be driven by grief and a lust for vegence. But it seemed so familiar to her in a way. Why? Ghostly eyes watched as the girl had her little quarral with Laios. Smirking as she fell a few times from the man. Now she simply pused the feeling aside. Such things were unneeded distractions. Lookign up as Laios troted Heru away she didn't really feel like going along but then Ember troted after. "D*mn mare", she hissed. A glance to the other was given before she took a few quick strides and caught up with Ember and gripepd the mares mane and swungher-self in the saddle. A trick she knew from her one and many riads having to get away quick.

Hearing the other mare coming up behind her Heru did as her master comanded her too. Now he remembered why he stayed away from females. They were nothing but toubles and always seemed to make his blood hot and full of anger. He clenches his jaws as his fingers gripped tightly on the reigns which made Heru react and put him back into check.
he needed to get back to reality. He needed to have a fix. His cruel jaden eyes stared fowards as he huffs only slightly. He hadn't intended to get so worked up but bringing back up the past.... with Raphael. Urgh Raphael... But anways... With that woman. That woman he and Raphael took turn taking advantage of. he closed his eyes for a second and bowed his head. How could he have sunk that low. He should have at lest... thought about it. NO. No he shouldn't have. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He corrected himself yet still that little pesky voice in his mind kept prodding his more natural resolution for everything down. No he was in the wrong. HE and Raphael acted like nothing but complete arrogant men who took what they wanted, whether i was lust from women to stealing jewels and clothes. Laios was a bad guy. He had done HORRIBLE things to that woman infront of her son. Oh boy. that smacked him in the face and he closed his eyes tightly. what... did I do?

Xena adjusted her seat. Looking back she shrugged. For now gettign to Van Maur was important. Feeling a sort of troubled air around her 'companion' she was silent. After a bit she rolled her eyes and clicked her tounge to her mare. Ember snorted and picked up ito a easy canter going ahead a bit. Passing him she glanced back to him before looking ahead. He can bother with troubled thoughts but she wanted nothing to do with such pests. Slowing the horse after a bit when she started to fidgit she sat back a bit in the saddle. Unlike Laios she no troubling thoughts. The ones that tried to come forth had been put pout when she pushed that feeling aside. The woamn liked her life. Taking lives, carefree, and free in a sense.

Well see Laios didn't care about what he did... It was just that one night did he feel some sort of remorse. He didn't want someone to know his buisness and he was suprised that Xena didn't ask what that was all about back there. Not like he would have told her anyways. Probably would have made a lie like he had back when she asked about his partner Raphael.
He close his eyes again and lightly moves his head back before righting himself and glancing to Xena as she passed. HIs brow merely rose as she resumed the front and he breathed in glaring at his surroundings.

Now she was starting to get bored. What fun was it to have someone traveling around you if they were a grotch? Her braid was pulled over her shoulder and untied. Once untied her raven wing hair fell free of its shape. Toying with the band that had held it together she looked back at Laios. "Don't tell me some little barking b*tch got to you", she said tone seeming bored. She wouldn't be nice about it. She was still a bit how to say , cold, from the fight. The edge would wear off soon but it was still there. It was hard for emotion to get threw at such times.

He swayed with this mares movements and fought to pull her back from bitting Ember on the rump. He just lightly and mentally groans and keeps edging Heru backwards. Not even watching Xena he had to much on his mind at the moment that not only what Amore had said back then but rather annoyed at Raphael. But when Xena had spoke up his stone hard eyes flicked up to her.
She didn't know sh*t about what was going on in his mind nor did he truly care if she was even interested. He wasn't in the mood to handle tyranic females nor their b*tchy ways. He kept his eyes on wavering on her and just mummbled gently beneath his breath. Perhaps if she knew more behind the story she would think before she talked. But however he didn't answer her. " We should reach Von Maur with the rate we're traveling with in two days... If we happened to pick up our pace.. It'll be one." He said merely dodgeing the question she had thrown out at him. He didn't give a d**n he didn't answer it and he wasn't going to. It was better off being forgotten lost in the past where he wished it to reside. And not this cold hearted best infront of him was going to get it out of him.
Kicking Heru he made her take the lead making her walk at a brisker pattern which she was trying to protest against him however he kept her head straight and a firm hold on her making sure she kept going. It would take a bit for him to cool back down and to totally forget the insident he and Raphael had done. But you had to have paitence. Come at him with horns and you will only be locking with him. Something many wouldn't consider a good thing.
After a while however with his mind getting cleared finally he was able to think more clearer. He slowed Heru down and cleared his throat. Of course now that the question had been an hour ago he looks to her. "That barking b*tch just happened to bring up something... I wished to have forgotten. The only one thing in my life I wished I had never done. First time for regret I guess." he shrugs now nonchalantly. He doubted she had any of those in her life and he truly didn't care if she didn't. But he did. He had one, "and no I don't want to think you have to give sympathy nor do I want to talk about it or hear kind words. Not that you would give it anyways. Its done. Its over. Drop it... Simple." He said. Of course he didn't expect her to keep going on with it but he wanted to make one thing clear. It was his problem he'd deal with it and he could give a f*ck on what she thought about it.

It was almost to good a chance to give up. He ahd left his-self wide open for some harsh retorts but she thought better at it. She simply smirked a sort of heartless giggle was given. This made Ember shift. The mare knew things her mistress did when in this mood. But Xena let him take lead without comment. Her mind slowly calmed and settled down. The fever from the fight she had that gave her the edge cooled off. By the time he spoke she was more of a moody melow than her firey sharp tounged self from before. Shrugging when he finished she gave a small smirk. "Well done. You have offically made me feel sorry for you", she said absentmindedly. She was toying with him ofcourse though her heart wasn't much in it. As if he knew. She regreated many things just she never let them take shape. She was in control not her emotions. He wouldn't understand nor did she want him to. The dark woman sighed and sat up in the saddle. "Forget I said that", she muttered. Her mare having behaved for she knew her riders moods too well and knew when she could play and not play. Honestly that was the closest to a sorry she would ever give him. As she let Ember pick up into a brisk trot she gave him a teasing wink with a smirk as she passed him. If anything that would show she was toying with him.
