Alanna raised a brow slightly at him. as he seemed to sruggle with something inside before he spoke. She shrugged. "For some that's well enough. I was born a fighter simple as that", she replied. Shifting again crossing her arms she was slowly getting more restless and more uneasy. Indoors. She hated them. Simple as that. Why was she inside with this pup? She needed to be outside. But she ignored the nagging need and stayed where she was no exprssion vissible.

He nodded to her statement. Looking around the room once more before standing back up and giving her an amused look. "Ok, I don't wanna stay here so, anywhere else I'm open for." Practically he was giving her free rein on where they could go. He didn't know where anything was anyways. He wouldn't mind anything. He just wanted to see the place and get to know it more as seeing he would be staying here for a while.

Alanna was gald he finally tired of the room a moments thought she shrugged. "How about we go down to the stables. That way your outside but stay dry", she suggested. Plus she wanted to check on Satan who was stuck in a stall for one of the rare few times. She moved to a tapastry and pulled it aside and revealed a small old door and opened it. "The stairs are the best go right to the kitchen and that has a door to the stables", she said simply.

He followed after her, glad to be going somewhere and he could get a look around. When she suggested the stable he nodded. Raider, he figured would be there hence he is a horse. Seeing the door revealed to the stairs his brow raised. It was cool how the door had been 'hidden'. At her words he nodded once again. "Cool."

Alanna nodded and moved down them stepping aside to let him pass then closed it before passing him again and leading the way down the torch lite path. Gong threw the busy kitchen glancing to be sure he was still with her she moved threw a door into the stable and took a deep breath and sighed letting it out. Going down the row she stopped at the stall of a large black and white shire and lowered his head petting his nose. He whickered softly in greetings to her.

Stepping into the stairway, he waited for her to get in front before following. Once in the kitchen he found no one was in it. He hadn't seen anyone else except for when he first arrived in the court yard. He didn't stray to far from Alanna before turning to follow her out the door. The barn had the smell of horses and rain. He liked both scents, rain less than horses. Following Alanna, he noticed the shire that she stopped by. On the other side of the stalls, he saw Raider who was throwing his head and pacing his stall. Rolling his eyes he approached the stall. "Hey boy." Raider whinnied when hearing him before jutting his neck out of the opening to Axel. He rubbed behind his ears and nose.

Alanna glanced at him when he went to his horse corner of her lips twicted but her attention went to her steed. Entering the stall she ran a hand over his coat. "How's my big boy doing today", she whispered softly grabbing a combs to get any tangle from his coat mane or tail. Softly talking to him an eyes always on Axel as she did so.

Raider has his nose buried in Axel's chest as if trying to seek shelter or something. Axel couldn't see how this tough horse would completely melt down in front of him. Axel just figured that Raider trusted him, and he trusted him back. Sliding the door open, he stepped in, hands rubbing down Raider's neck and back. The hair was still damp from the rain but was drying quickly. He was now closer to his chestnut color. Raider's head turned and nipped at his hand before sniffing it. Ok so his horse had this weird thing with reflecting things and he could remember where something had reflected once. His hand was at his waste as his fingers and skin on his hand rippled into the soft black and reflecting color of blue. Raider jerked his head back before staring at the now snake skin. Most horses would flip out at the sight of a snake or something that resembled it. Raider had just grown with him so he got used to the look and feel of it upon his fur. "Good boy."

Alanna gave him a last brush over and pat. Then she gave him a kiss on the nose and left the stall. Brushing the horse hair from her clothes she stretched with a sigh. Looking at Axel she looked away looking up and down the barn for anyone else that might be in. It looekd relitively empty. It was the weather she knew it why be around the horses when you can't ride. Leanign against a wooden pole she pulled a dagger from her boot and cleaned under her nails boredly though she seemed at home and more relaxed here.

After rubbing Raider and giving him the attention he hadn't got in the last few days as all those were full of riding and sleeping. Once he seemed calmed down that he had been visited, Axel stepped out of the stall before shutting the door behind him. Normal skin flickered over his scales upon his hand. Watching Alanna, he leaned against the wooden stall opposite of her, he took a seat. He wasn't terrified of getting dirty. When he did, he watched her before asking a random question. "So, you have any idea how I'm related to the king? The council back home didn't really give me any details.."

Alanna worked silently and when he asked her a question she tossed the dagger up and caught it over and over. Catching the handle each time. "No clue. Some sort of distant cusin or somethinf rmoved a few times. It was to complicated for me to remember", she replied. She missed and hissed as the blade sliced into her plam. Letting the blade drop with a clatter out of reaction. The wound slwoly sticked itself closed. Wipping the blood on her breeches she bet down and whipepd the blade too. No mark on her plam that was bleeding moments ago.

His eyes followed the dagger through the air over and over again as she spoke. He sighed and pulled his knees close to him then resting his arms upon then, followed by his head. He watched her and when the dagger sliced her hand, his head rose. Watching the the wound heal instantly he looked from it to her. "That's a helpful ability. I have to say I'm slightly, jealous." He chuckled before placing his head back upon his arms.

Shrugging at his words she gave a small hint of a smile. "It helps when your in as many fights as me. Plus I helped and saved many this way. Though there are times its a irritation", she said. She went back to tossing te blade watching him as she did.

He had to say, hearing about someone else's ability was interesting. When she said that it was an irritation he gave her a confused look. He couldn't help but feel as though his was more irritating but that was just him. "How could healing be irritating?"

Alanna laughed lightly and looked at him with a smirk. "When your little and want to be sick to get out of chores or duties. Your parents know you never get sick it's not to fun", she said and shrugged switchinghands dagger moved effortlessly in the air.
