He chuckled at all her ways that she found to amuse herself with. Maids were especially fun to toy with. They seemed to freak when he walked around with his scales showing. When she mentioned outside he would have jumped up at the offer but he remembered that he was supposed to stay near the castle. When she tugged on his hand he tugged a little back. "I'm not supposed to go out without Alanna or another guard." He hated that but he knew what it was for.

Lilly stopped and looked to him. Head cocked to the side at him as though considering something. Then she shrugged. "So I'll have a guard come with. Not as fun but still. Noooow will you go for a ride", she asked with a smile to show she was playing around. Giving his hand another small tug.

Watching and listening to her, she seemed so excited to go and get out. He glanced up as if thinking then turned back to her and her hand tugging. "Alright..." He let her tug him to where they were going. He didn't want a guard to go with them, but he knew that it would be safer. Even though everyone keeps telling him that the killer more than likely didn't follow him here, they didn't want to take any chances.

Lilly smiled and lead him to the stables taking a short cut. Once in the stable she went straight to Gracey's stall and looekd around motioning a guard who happened to be in there and asked if he would accompany them and with his yes she got to work on getting her horse ready not letting anyone else care for the mare often. "Where would you like to go first", she asked over her shoudler to Axel as she possitioned the mares bridle.

When they got to the stables he went to Raider's stall. The bay greeted him with an eager nicker. Stepping in he brushed him down before grabbing the tack and saddling him. Raider didn't want to stand still though. He was to excited that he knew they were going somewhere. Axel managed to get him to stand still and got him all tacked. Hearing Lilly he looked over to her stall. "It doesn't matter to me. I haven't been out since I got here." Raider tossed his head to agree with the prince. Axel looked over at the guard who had also saddled up his horse.

Lilly nodded and lead her horse out. The mare whickered sweetly and followed her easly. With the help of a stable hand she mounted sidesaddle as was approprate for a noblewoman. Looking to him. "Then I shall take you meadow. On the way back we can pass threw the town", she said and kissed to Graey and the mare moved into a trot for her.

Following Lilly out, Raider pranced about, ears alert to the bright sun. He whinnied to everything like it was all alive. Mounting up on him, Raider seemed to stop pacing as much but continued to snort and nicker to random objects. Chuckling at his bay, Axel rubbed his neck gently. "Alright, lets go." With a gentle nudge, Raider trotted after Gracey and Lilly. The guard wasn't far behind them but not on top either.

Lilly smiled and patted her mares neck and let him come up beside her. She was with a guard pasing threw town would mean everyone would ignore them and move out of the way. Going around wasted time. So troting threw town they did and everyone simply parted way. "Mayhaps we will be lucky and the mist lifted for a while. Its pretty with it but much more without", she said when they cleared the town and asked her horse for a a faster pace and the bay took up a quick canter.

As they made their way through the town, he watched as the people just moved as if it was just something ordinary. Of course, he got that to at home but he rarely ever went on horse back. He liked being right in with everyone, but he was still glad to be able to see everyone. Hearing Lilly, he looked over at her for a second then back forward. He could see the mist was still pretty thick but the sun had to burning it off pretty fast. With another nudge, Raider jumped forward into the canter, glad to be moving at a faster pace.

Violet eyes took in everything before them to be sure of anything. Riding right into the mist. Gracey seeming to pick up pace without a command. "Come along lets see who is the better rider shall we", she said looking back with a smile. The guard would keep them in sight. But she wanted a little run. Plus this way she had reason to be outside the gates and not have to lie so you could say she felt good on top her good happy mood. Gracey whickerd and moved into a quick gallop after givening Axel a second to reply so to say.

He was quick to accept her offer. "I think we already know whose better.. but I'd be happy to show off anyways." He chuckled and let the reins loosen and gave Raider another quick nudge sending him forward. Raider had this built up spunk and just ran like the devil was at his heel, but he was having fun the whole way.

"Bold words. Lets see if you can back them up", she laughed and shifted her seat to sit better in the saddle best she could sidesaddle. Gracey ran on to keep up with the other sencing everything was for fun. A few pens fell from her hair as she rode but didn;t seem to ntice. Of course the poor maids would when they got back.

Hearing her voice over the wind in his ears he glanced over to see her speeding up. Raider didn't quite understand the concept of 'competition' so he just lagged at Gracey's hind quarters, till Axel nudged him to let him know, he wanted to be in front of the horse. Raider granted his wish somewhat with tying the race neck to neck. Axel just let out a chuckled at this.

Lilly smiled as the horses changed things up a few times. Silently she continued to urge her mare. Gracey kept the pace avery now and then her step quickened then slowed back down again. But Lilly wasn't looking to win just to have fun.

Axel had to say, he hadn't found this much fun at the castle. He hadn't met Lilly before either. Alanna would probably freak if he turned into another Lilly. He had to smile at this.
From the trees bordering the meadow, a dark dressed person sat upon a dapple grey horse, watching the riders. Pin pointing that the male rider was her target, she slid an arrow from its holder and knocked it into place. Holding up with a steady aim, she followed the running horses and found out the correct timing. A few feet in front of the two running horses, she took her aim, and released, sending the arrow whizzing through the air at an intense speed towards the male rider.
