It had been weeks since Lilly had been shot. A week since he had gone against everything people told him not to do and a week since he got Alanna furious with him. Axel hadn't thought that one trip outside the walls would make much of a difference. Now it had gotten Lilly hurt and him worried. The chances of assassins following him or knowing he was here was slim but they were here. It didn't help Axel sleep at night. Through these few weeks he has been making it a common thing to avoid Alanna. It was difficult yes but he did it anyways. Maybe cause he figured she was still angry with him for sneaking out with Lilly.
Making his way through the courtyard he approached the stables. Stepping through the doors, the horses in the stalls reached their head's out to see him. Raider's blazed head and chestnut neck reached out of his stall to let out a shrill whicker. Axel walked towards him with a chuckle. "Hey boy.." Opening the door he stepped in. Raider's head was pressed against his chest in a loving way and as if he had been neglected from little attention. Axel rubbed behind Raider's ears, letting scales drift over his hand as he knew that Raider had an odd obsession with his snake skin. It was comforting to be with the one thing that was still normal in his life.

Alanna had spent much of her time when Axel tried to avoid her working on her sword skills tired of playing babysitter at the moment simply because she was dissapointed in the prince. Her anger had faded away the last couple of days. She made sure the boy was watched all the time though just incase. Like now she had the maid that had kept an eye on the pricne come to her saying he had went to the stables. So she sheathed her sword and headed for the stables.
The warrioress stopped nearby at Satan's stall where the large stallion nudged her tenderly. She rubbed his nose and gave him a carrot before moving forward. "Perhaps we should forget the whole thing. I believe you know better by now", she said flattly. She crossed her arms leaning agasint a stall door watching his with dark brown eyes.

Raider's head turned to sniff his scaled fingers, nipping at them with his lips before turning to blow air upon his hair. When another set of boots could be heard in the stable, Raider's ears perked as he looked towards the female. Eyes glanced to see Alanna petting her horse then come towards the stall he was in. Axel didn't really want to talk or be caught in a conversation with her but as he was in a stall and she was outside of it, he was literally cornered.
He had expected some sort of lecture or some discussion, not just a lets forget about it. Meeting her dark eyes with his own bright blue, he studied her for a moment or two. Avoiding her for a few weeks hadn't been easy, he knew that people were watching him for her though and informing information on him to her as well. It was just a matter of time till she caught up. A sigh came from him as he rubbed Raider's head. "Everyone said that the chances of them following me here was slim.. I guess not as slim as I thought.."

Dark brown eyes stayed on him as she watched for a show of anything that gave up his thoughts. At least she could tell the whole incident made him think over things well. The fact he avoided her told her he either was afriad of her or knew she was right.
When he spoke Alanna listened. A nod was given understanding. "Well I have learned what this 'Everyone' person says tends to be wrong", she informed him briskly. She looked around then at him again. "As long as you learn to use your head you'll be fine leave the rest to those whose job is to keep you safe. If you want I can teach you a little something if it puts your mind at ease", she added. Alanna shook her hair back pulling it into a ponytail and using a bit of leatehr to tie it up out of her face. She moved away from the wood she had leaned on.
